Rosacea

Rosacea is characterized by redness, visible blood vessels, and, in some cases, acne-like bumps. It typically appears on the central part of the face, especially the cheeks, nose, forehead, and chin. Rosacea can also cause the skin to feel sensitive or to burn, and in more severe cases, it can lead to thickened skin, particularly on the nose, a condition known as rhinophyma. The exact cause of rosacea is not fully understood, but it is thought to be related to a combination of genetic and environmental factors. Common triggers of rosacea symptoms include inflammatory foods, sun exposure, harsh weather conditions, stress & alcohol.
